Ex-Member of Parliament for Ntcheu Mbwanje, Nancy Chaola Mdooko has urged aspiring candidates to prepare their minds for the outcome of the 16th September polls.
Mdooko says candidates must understand that in every election there is a winner and loser, hence the need to accept the results early.
"I have told these women to accept whatever results might come. Life still goes on even if one did not make it,” she said.
She has also advised the candidates not to exhaust all their finances during the campaign, but to spend wisely and plan for life after the elections.
"You are witness that some politicians who have lost a lot of properties due to overspending in the campaign trails, let them spend wisely and invest for them not to regret,” Mdooko said.
Mdooko, however, appealed for the women candidates to make promises that are feasible within the government coughers.
The remarks were made during an interface meeting between aspiring candidates and ex- Members of Parliament aimed at motivating and encouraging them as they battleit out on 16th September 2025 polls.
Meanwhile, Project Officer for the Centre for Civil Society Strengthening, Sinya Msiska, says they have oriented and mentored the women on how to articulate their manifestos and improve message delivery.
"We believe we have given this candidate the required things in their journey, let them utilise what we have taught them.
"I believe they will make it and deliver whats best for their societies "Msiska explained.
