Umunthu FM joins the rest of the world in commemorating the international safe Abortion day.
This year's commemoration is taking place at Chisoti school ground in Nkhotakota District under the theme "In Solidarity, working towards Reduction of Death from Unsafe Abortion in Malawi".
Under the Amplify Change funded "Pamoja" initiative, Umunthu FM has joined the efforts by different players and partners in championing access to quality and easily accessible SRH services to all women, while recognizing and honoring their choices and rights of the same in Kasungu District under its "Community voices for legal action" project.
Umunthu FM recognizes the impact of collected voices in mobilization, advocacy and awareness creation, and the call to action by communities, authorities and government at large in ending deaths associated to unsafe abortion across the country.
